1. How to format the paper?

2. About Short paper.

All short papers must be formatted in LNEMS format and no longer than 4 pages. All short papers will be included in the workshop proceeding.

 

3. About Indexing.

Springer will submit the proceeding in CCIS and LNEMS for indexing to ISI Thomson's Scientific and Technical Proceedings (ISTP). CCIS and LNEMS is no longer indexed in ISI Thomson's Science Citation Index (SCI), a journal index.

 

4. Copyright/Registration form.

Please fill this Copyright Form and Registration Form and fax it to ++86-10-82680698.

 

5. Registration Fee for all schedules of Jiuzhaigou/Emei.

The conference organizers will provide the same invoice as the invoice of the registration fee for Chengdu and the registration fee will be noted as "Conference Registration Fee".

 

6. About Special Issues in International Journals.

All people who want to submit a paper to each of the MCDM special issues must attend and present the paper before they can formally submit the full-size paper after the conference. The registration is a based requirement of the journal submission. After the conference, participants of the conference will be invited to submit the extended version of their paper for further review in special issues of Journal of Multi Criteria Decision Analysis , Decision Support Systems (SCI-indexed), Annals of Operations Research (SCI-indexed), International Journal of Information Technology and Decision Making (SCI-indexed), and Information Sciences (SCI-indexed).

 

7. Details of different schedules of Jiuzhaigou/Emei.

8. Workshop Proceeding to be published in CCIS instead of LNEMS.

Springer offered to publish the MCDM workshop proceedings in the Communications in Computer and Information Science series. Please find details about CCIS here: http://www.springer.com/series/7899. CCIS is the “sister series” of the LNCS. The proceedings volume will be submitted to ISI for indexing to ISI Thomson's Scientific and Technical Proceedings (ISTP). With the publication in this series , Springer can guarantee the delivery of workshop proceeding before the conference and there would also be the possibility to order the CD proceeding and/or the book proceeding.

 

9. Abstract submission to main conference.

10. When will we be back from Jiuzhaigou/Mt. Emei?

The conference closes in late afternoon of June 26th. All participants to either Jiuzhaigou or Mt. Emei should be returned to Chengdu in the evening of June 26. Please book your returning ticket from Chengdu in afternoon of June 27 in case there is flight or bus delay from Jiuzhaigou or Mt. Emei on June 26. The national and international airports in Chengdu are at the same location.
 

11. Will there be beamers/ overhead projectors available for the presentations?

Yes, we have computer and projector in each conference room.


12. Will there be a bus shuttle from the airport to the hotel?
No. However, we will have volunteers at Chengdu Airport on June 20 and 21 to help you for transportation to the hotel.
 

13. What is the policy of refund?
According to the Chinese bank policy, any refund will be charged 20% handling fee of the total payment.
 

14. How to take a taxi to the hotel?
Please show this information to the taxi driver.

 

15. Are there any Executive Committee, Business Meeting, and Awards Ceremony in the conference?
Yes, we will host an Executive Committee, a Business Meeting, and an Awards Ceremony during the conference time.
